Longboard Construction

Our boards are constructed using the finest Canadian Maple and  Baltic Birch veneers.

Our Glue

Each veneer is glued using a unique one part adhesive with the specific advantage of a crosslinking adhesive.  The glue provides a Type II water resistant bond and is made specifically for the skateboard industry. Once glued, we keep the veneers in a cold press for 12 hours and then rack them for continued dry time.  After 5 days, we begin machining the laminated veneers.

Machining Your Board

We use everything from the latest CNC and laser engraver technology to the old fashioned hand sanding.  Each veneer is cut to size on table saws, cold pressed, and then machined using a combination of CNC machines and hand routers.  Sanding is completed using bi-axial rotation as well as a little elbow grease.  When board machining is complete, each one is inspected for exacting standards before we coat them.

Our Coating

Once machining is complete, we finish the board using a clear, water white high-modulus epoxy system that is UV resistant for maintaining longer surface gloss.  This is used to cover volan-finished cloth manufactured by the very best weavers.  Once this is complete, we finish topcoat the board with a two-part polyurethane coating specifically formulated for maximum performance.  When cured, the board will be moisture and solvent resistant.  The UV absorbers will not yellow or lose gloss.  The final product is a tough, durable finish.

How we build them

Wheels We Use

At the current time, we are using Zombie Hawgs and PARIS wheels on our complete packages.

76mm Monster Hawgs - For a wheel full of traction that is capable of hitting the highest of speeds, look no further than the Monster Hawg. Perfectly paired with any downhill/freeride board when the mission is speed. Expect nothing but smooth sailing as you make your way to the bottom of the mountain. This is also a great wheel for anyone looking to make their push through the city a little more effortless, as its 76mm diameter will keep you rolling as long as you let it.

76mm Zombie Hawgs - Built on a large 42mm injection molded core Zombie's roll super quick, ideal for hunting down useless humans. The Zombie is truely sideset with the inner edge of the bearing perfectly aligned with the inner edge of the wheel. The Zombie's sideset stance and round edges make for a super smooth transition from gripping a carve to throwing a slide. With a contact patch of 33mm there's enough resistance to slow you down during a slide while the rounded edges make for a predictable drift. After scratching their backs on tombstones, the Zombies come to you with a stone ground finish making them easy to rip as soon as you get your hands on them

We also stock  70mm Mini Monster Hawgs, 70mm Mini Zombies, and 70mm Biggie Hawgs.

The Trucks We Use

At the current time, we are using BEAR and PARIS trucks on our complete packages.

BEAR - Grizzly 852's

The Grizzly is our standard all round truck, available with a 52 or 40 degree baseplate. It has gone though many years of testing and refining by the BEAR professional riders and their in house engineer. They 've kept the production quality high as well. The trucks are cast using a special casting formula to maximize strength. They have found that a 181mm axle width along with a 52 degree baseplate is optimum for all round longboarding. If going fast is your thing, the 40 degree baseplate will offer more stability at higher speeds, but less responsiveness at lower speed. If you're looking for versatility, they've made it so that you can easily change the angle of the truck by flipping the hanger. Doing so with the 52 degree baseplate turns the truck from a general carving truck, to a more downhill oriented truck.
